71st Annual AAEP Convention 2026 (USA)

The Annual Convention, which is the largest meeting of equine veterinarians in the world, hosts over 100 hours of classroom-style seminars and small discussion-oriented forums about equine veterinary medicine and techniques, as well as professional development.

Please note that the 2026 AAEP Annual Convention & Trade Show will follow a different schedule than in previous years. While the event traditionally opens on Saturday, this year’s activities will start on Monday, Dec. 7, with the educational program officially kicking off on Tuesday, Dec. 8. We encourage all attendees to review the program schedule as more details are added, and adjust travel plans as needed. See you in Vegas!

About the AAEP

The Amercian Association of Equine Practitioners, headquartered in Lexington, Kentucky, was founded in 1954 as a non-profit organisation dedicated to the health and welfare of the horse.

Currently, the AAEP reaches more than 5 million horse owners through its over 9,000 members worldwide and is actively involved in ethic issues, practice management, research and continuing education in the equine veterinary profession and horse industry.
